Cougar Bait - March 14, 2012

After coming together in early 2009, Cougar Bait exploded onto the New England music scene in 2010. The band invaded Worcester as their first beachhead playing virtually every venue in town, and being featured in both The Worcester Telegram and Pulse Magazine. In 2011, Cougar bait recorded their first EP Tyrannosaurus Sex, and celebrated with a huge CD release party at Jillian's. Cougar Bait was nominated for 3 Worcester Music Awards, winning band with Best Groupies! The EP sent 3 singles to #1 on NEGB1's Top 20. Cougar Bait was featured on Unregular Radio, and played festivals and clubs throughout the greater Boston area culminating in their headlining show at Tammany Hall. The first ever Cougarpalooza was packed and was hosted by NEGB1's Jeff Royds. 2012 promises to be the biggest yet for Cougar Bait. The band is currently recording their follow-up EP, and the first single Lovecraft, already shot to number 1 on NEGB1 Radio's Top 20 Countdown. Cougar Bait has already been booked in New England's premiere clubs and festivals, and will play for more people in 2012 than ever before. Daughters, lock up your mothers; this is Cougar Bait! |

Virus Cycle combines haunting lyrics, pulsating beats, and grinding buzzsaw-esque guitars which takes listeners on a journey into a post-apocalyptic future of death and decay, ruled by the flesh-eating undead. On February 23, 2011, Virus Cycle released their debut Post-Apocalyptic Industrial Zombie Tech album entitled "Alice in Zombieland.“ The album has been downloaded by people all over the world via the band’s website. Centerlink are three guys from the Boston area trying to bring back straight forward Hard Rock Heavy Metal. The way it used to be. Heavy riffs with melodic vocal lines. This band is on a mission to bring it back to the Boston area.
